Frequently Asked Questions

We have organized our most common questions below. If you are unable to find the answer you are looking for please contact our customer service department using our Contact Form

A) For most upholstered chairs and sofas, you can find the hardware, legs, assembly instructions, and pillow being stored inside the seat cushion. Open up the black dust cover on the under side of the seat cushion by either pulling the zipper, or by pulling back the velcro flap around the edge.

B) The hardware included with our items is almost always packaged in a red plastic bag with a red trailer ribbon to make it easier to find.

C) Sometimes, small parts are stored in or taped to the side of filler boxes that are used strictly as packaging filler.

D) We do our best to keep extra parts of all of our items in stock, but in some cases, the issue might need to be resolved through the retailer that sold you the item.

E) If you still need assistance, then please fill out our Contact Form to explain the issue and we will respond by no later than 1 business day.

A) We are very sorry that your item has been damaged. The best way to begin resolution is to tell us about the damaged item through our contact form. Be sure to include photos of the damaged part/s so that we can better understand the problem.

B) NOTE: Wood items with a “reclaimed” or “weathered” finish are intentionally finished to look distressed or imperfect. See example below:

C) We do our best to replace damaged parts, but in some cases, the issue might need to be resolved through the retailer that sold you the item.

D) Please fill out our Contact Form to explain the issue and we will respond by no later than 1 business day.

A) Most of the time, this can be resolved by loosening all of the bolts just enough so that all parts have room to wiggle or adjust. Once you have the bolts loosened, try attaching all remaining bolts just a little bit to get them started. Once all bolts have been started then tighten all bolts evenly, and do not over tighten.

B) If you're still having trouble, please use the Contact Form to explain the issue and we will respond by no later than the next business day.

A) This problem can also be resolved by loosening all of the bolts, but only enough so that all of the parts have room to wiggle or adjust. Once loosened, stand the item upright, then apply pressure to the item and adjust until all legs are touching the floor. Now, tighten all of the bolts evenly, and the item should no longer be wobbly.

B) If you're still having trouble, please use the Contact Form to explain the issue and we will respond by no later than the next business day.

All returns and exchanges can only be made through the retailer that sold you the item.

Dimensions Furniture is strictly a manufacturing company and does not offer retail sales.

On occasion, we will have extras on hand. Feel free to send a request through our Contact Form to find out.

Type Care
Leather
  • General Care:
Dust periodically to prevent dirt build-up and vacuum as needed. No harsh cleaners should ever be used on the leather, as this could harm the finish.
  • Stain Removal:
First, use a lightly damp cloth with warm water, blot the stained area, and let air-dry. If this is ineffective, a mild mixture of non-perfumed and un-dyed soap and water can be blotted to the stained area.
  • Always use caution when applying any solutions or cleaners to your leather items. Test all applications on an inconspicuous spot before applying.
Wood Finish General Care:
Remove build-up of dust with a damp cloth and dry immediately. If left sitting for too long, water or condensation can penetrate the finish and form white marks. Be sure to always use coasters, placemats, or tablecloths to prevent this from happening.
Upholstery
  • General Care:
Rotate loose cushions and pillows consistently to disperse wear and avoid fading in sunlight.
  • Spot Cleaning: Always address spills immediately, and always blot (never rub) the affected area.
  • Using a professional upholstery cleaning service is the only recommended solution for any upholstered item. If you must apply a cleaning solution to your product, we recommend testing all solutions on an inconspicuous part of the fabric before applying to the entire upholstery area. Always use caution when applying any solutions or cleaners to your upholstered items.
Powder Coat Finish
(Metal Items)
Clean with a soft brush or sponge using water and mild soap or detergent. Hard brushes and/or aggressive cleaners could cause damage to the finish. Be sure to test all solutions on an inconspicuous spot before applying to the entire finish area.
